Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a General Maintenance Technician - Flooring Specialist I for our Fort Campbell, KY location. You will assist with flooring installation, demolition, and repairs mainly during COM, ensuring safety and quality for residents.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years in trades, and basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills. A REAL ID compliant license is needed to access the federal facility; strong teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience (trade, apprentice, etc.).
• Basic competency in carpentry, plumbing and electrical trades.
• Skilled based on assessment in flooring cleaning, repair or installation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Service/COM requirements and property management needs.
• Repair, clean, and install flooring (carpet, hard surface, or other).
• Update work order status with time, materials and notes on mobile devices.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Keep supervisor informed of activities, results and problems; suggest corrective actions.
• Maintain vehicle and vehicle inventory as prescribed.
• Transport, install, and connect stoves, refrigerators, and other appliances.
• Load/unload trucks and move supplies; stack materials for storage.
• Transport equipment and furnishings to job sites.
• Repair and fabricate window/door screens and frames.
• Remove floor tile, vinyl, ceramic tile and plywood; remove damaged drywall.
• Operate power tools and perform site clean-up; ensure safety.
• Respond to and complete on-call after hour emergencies.
