Job summary

K. Hovnanian Companies, LLC, based in New York's West Village, seeks an interior designer with 5+ years of experience to join an in‑house design studio. You will collaborate on interior designs and virtual/3D models for residential structures, and prepare design documentation and presentations.

You will evolve the Looks and help develop new residential products for communities, spanning from Research to Execution, with involvement in Model Home Directives, Sales Tools and marketing support.

Qualifications

• Interior designer with at least 5+ years of experience.
• Experience collaborating in an in‑house design studio.
• Ability to create and prepare interior designs and 3D models.

As part of the team, you will co‑create everything from on‑trend interiors to new product designs, Club Houses and Model Homes. We are looking for someone with an experienced eye‑for‑design and wants to join an interiors team at a National Home Builder who impacts the lives of thousands of Americans each year.

We are looking for someone who is a natural culture‑builder, who enjoys using their design skills to create connective tissue and organic ways of working across multiple teams (across corporate and in the field). Someone who is curious, collaborative, and compassionate. We empower all our designers to share their perspectives, own their creative point of view, and give feedback on the process and outcome – your engagement and excitement in the work matter.

We are looking for an interior designer (5+ years of experience) who is interested in being a key team member of an in‑house design studio. You will collaborate in the creation and preparation of interior designs and virtual/3D models of residential structures, production of design documentation and presentations. Work will primarily focus on evolving the interior design Looks while developing new residential products for the future. Projects will span from Research, Pre‑Design through Execution of the homes in our Communities, as well as assisting on Model Home Directives, Sales Tools and Marketing Strategies.
