Job summary

K. Hovnanian Companies, LLC seeks an Architect with 2–5 years' experience in homebuilding. You will create CAD plans, develop supporting documents, and contribute to project reviews for homeowners. Proficiency in AutoCAD Architectural Desktop and Google SketchUp is required.

Using premier CAD technology, you’ll draw accurate and detailed plans that help illustrate home plans, building materials, options, etc. You will also develop forms, charts and other construction documents for review by internal decision-makers and future homeowners.

Requirements for this position include a bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent of 2-5'experience in the homebuilding industry. Additional skills include proficiency in AutoCADArchitectural Desktop, Google Sketchup, knowledge of residential construction and structural and mechanical designs.
