Job summary

K. Hovnanian® Homes is seeking a CAD Designer to create accurate and detailed home plans using premier CAD tools. You will develop construction documents and oversee drawings for review by decision-makers and future homeowners.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or 2–5 years in homebuilding, with proficiency in AutoCAD Architectural Desktop and Google SketchUp, plus knowledge of residential construction and structural/mechanical design.

Using premier CAD technology, you'll draw accurate and detailed plans that help illustrate home plans, building materials, options, etc. You will also develop forms, charts and other construction documents for review by internal decision-makers and future homeowners.

Requirements for this position include a bachelor's degree in Architecture or an equivalent of 2-5 years' experience in the homebuilding industry. Additional skills include proficiency in AutoCAD Architectural Desktop, Google Sketchup, knowledge of residential construction and structural and mechanical designs.
