Job summary

Steinberg Hart in Austin, TX seeks an experienced interior designer to lead multiple interior projects, including federal, civic and higher education, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with BIM standards. • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design required.
• NCIDQ certification with ADA and life safety knowledge.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in interiors design and documentation.
• NAVFAC Interiors experience preferred.

• Experience with civic/government and higher education projects preferred.

Five (5) years of experience in the design and documentation of interiors projects Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design NCIDQ Certification with strong grasp of ADA and life safety requirements NAVFAC Interiors experience Preferred: LEED or WELL accreditation preferred Preferred: Experience with civic/government and/or higher-education work preferred Preferred: Knowledge of highly sustainable practices and industry standards
