Job description

New York City-based architecture and interior design firm focused on higher education and mixed-use projects is seeking an intermediate interior designer with a keen eye for thoughtful design and materiality. The ideal candidate will have experience developing front-end concepts and design narratives and seeing projects through to execution, working closely with the interior and architecture teams to ensure a cohesive approach.

This opportunity is specifically centered around private universities and student housing projects. While this experience is not necessarily a keen interest is required.

Hybrid schedule of 3/2

Qualifications:

• Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience
• Experience with FF&E selection and coordination
• Interest in working on school and/or higher education projects
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD required; hand-sketching skills preferred
