Job Title: Store Manager - Interior Design Center

Company Overview: We are an Interior Design Center committed to helping clients create beautiful spaces with expert design advice. Our store offers a wide range of home design materials including flooring, tile, cabinets and more.

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our Interior Design Center. As a Store Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer experience, manage a talented team, develop and maintain vendor relationships and drive sales performance. You will work closely with the design team to maintain a beautiful store, promote interior design trends, and ensure the store is running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead, manage, and motivate a high-performing store team.
  2. Oversee day-to-day operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and sales targets.
  3. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed store goals.
  4. Foster a collaborative environment with the design team.
  5. Manage store budgets and expenses, ensuring profitability.
  6. Develop and manage vendor relationships.
  7. Oversee and develop streamlined vendor ordering, shipment scheduling, and tracking.
  8. Ensure customers experience quality service and care.

Qualifications:

  1. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Knowledge of interior design principles and décor trends preferred but not required.
  4. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  5. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  6. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and a good working knowledge of accounting software and order processing.
  7. Proven history of training employees and guiding them towards success.
