Ethan Allen is seeking a Design Consultant to work closely with customers, delivering personalized space plans, fabric coordination, product selection and total design solutions. You will be responsible for driving sales while representing the brand in all client interactions and performing home visits when appropriate.

The role emphasizes design expertise, customer service, and active use of digital tools and social media to expand business and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a design-related field from an accredited institution, desirable.
• Broad knowledge of interior design and effective sales techniques.
• Working knowledge of online sales and design tools.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Social media & grass-roots marketing to build a book of business.

Responsibilities

• Create design solutions consistent with customer preferences and budget.
• Sell Ethan Allen's products and services.
• Represent the Ethan Allen brand in all customer interactions and conduct home visits as needed.
• Utilize social media to develop and grow the business.
• Educate customers about the complimentary design service and options available.
• Stay current on design and color trends and provide timely order updates.
