Job summary

Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. is seeking a Design Center Manager in Oak Brook, IL to lead design teams and drive sales performance across the center.

You will coach designers, manage customer relationships, and coordinate with leadership to implement growth strategies. Requires a strong background in residential interior design and prior supervisory experience, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent (or 10 years of progressive senior experience).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of experience or High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive relevant work experience and practical interior design experience.
• Proven sales background in residential interior design.
• Broad knowledge of interior design and effective sales techniques.
• Supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall management of the design center.
• Lead design teams and coach for professional development.
• Drive new business and growth through grassroots marketing and digital channels.
• Review P&L statements monthly with Market Design Leader and Market Operations Leader.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and code of conduct.
• Complete performance appraisals.
• Provide training sessions for the design center.
• Set monthly and quarterly goals with designers.
