Building Ventures is seeking an experienced interior carpenter for hands-on finish carpentry on residential and light commercial projects in Cartersville, GA and surrounding areas. You will measure, cut and install interior trim, doors, cabinets, and stairwork, read plans, operate hand and power tools, and maintain a safe, clean jobsite with attention to finish quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of interior finish carpentry experience on residential or light commercial projects.
• Strong measuring, layout and trim-fitting skills; able to work to tight tolerances.
• Comfortable using saws, routers, nail guns, drills, routers and finish tools.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 10-hour construction card or willingness to obtain.
• Able to read plans and perform basic construction math.
• Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working at heights (ladders/scaffolds).

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut and install interior trim, base, casing, crown molding, and millwork.
• Install doors, frames, hardware, cabinets and built-in casework.
• Perform interior framing, blocking and stair assembly as needed.
• Read plans and layout work; verify dimensions.
• Operate hand and power tools safely; sand, stain, and finish to spec.
• Maintain clean, safe jobsite and follow safety procedures.

About This RoleExperienced Interior Carpenter needed for interior finish work on construction projects in Cartersville, GA and surrounding areas.
