About this roleExperienced carpenter needed for per diem assignments in Carrollton, GA. You will lead on-site framing and finish work, install cabinets, countertops, doors and windows, and ensure quality across trades on commercial projects. Expect day-to-day hands-on work plus foreman duties. This role runs on a per diem schedule - short-term assignments with daily reporting. You'll supervise crews, manage time-and-material tracking, enforce site safety, and coordinate layout and inspections to keep work moving and meeting specs.What you'll doRead and interpret drawings; lay out work and set lines for rough and finish carpentryPerform bench work, cabinetmaking, countertop and cabinet installation, and trim/panelingLead wood and metal framing: walls, floors, roofs, stairs, and nonbearing interior partitionsInstall doors, hardware, windows, in-wall blocking, and stair systems; perform final work inspectionManage crews on site: train staff, develop daily schedules, signal crane operations, and direct scaffolding setupCoordinate concrete formwork, excavation support, floor sanding/finishing and maintain accurate time/material recordsWhat we're looking forProven experience in both rough and finish carpentry, cabinetmaking, and bench carpentry on commercial jobsSkilled in wood and metal framing (floor, roof, wall, stair framing) and nonbearing partition systemsExperience installing countertops, cabinets, doors/hardware, windows, trim, and panelingAbility to read plans, perform site layout, measure and cut accurately, and perform work inspectionsForeman experience: crew supervision, staff training, schedule development, and time/material managementComfortable with scaffolding systems, crane signaling, concrete formwork, excavation support, and floor finishingQualificationsValid driver's license and ability to travel to Carrollton, GA job sitesOSHA 10 (preferred) or site-specific safety training completedCrane signaling / signaling flagger experience or certification preferredAbility to pass pre-employment drug screen and background checkHigh school diploma or equivalent; vocational carpentry training is a plusWhat we offerPer diem assignment structure for flexible, short-term workSite-provided PPE and jobsite safety trainingDaily travel assignments within the region with organized reportingOpportunity to run crews and grow foreman-level responsibility on commercial projectsReady to apply?Build your profile.
