Job summary

Actalent in Chicago, IL seeks an Architect or Technical Designer to join a leading global practice focused on high-profile commercial interiors. You will produce interior construction documents in Revit and create high-quality renderings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to translate design concepts into 2D and 3D documentation.

This is a contract-to-hire, on-site role with potential to become Project Architect for licensed candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years of architecture and design experience.
• Proficiency in Revit at a professional level, including interior construction documents.
• Strong rendering skills with high-quality visualizations.
• Experience in interior architecture and commercial interior design.
• Licensed architect for candidates pursuing the Project Architect role.
• Proficiency with Rhino, SketchUp and Enscape.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team to develop interior design solutions for commercial projects.
• Participate in all phases from conceptual design to construction documentation.
• Translate sketches and design intent into 2D and 3D Revit models and drawings.
• Produce detailed construction drawings and high-quality renderings.
• Coordinate design and documentation with clients, consultants, and vendors.
• Manage client, team, and project coordination for licensed roles.
