Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced Interior Designer in Chicago to coordinate workplace and corporate interiors through all design phases, from schematic design to construction documents. Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite is required, with FF&E coordination and client presentation support a plus.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams, strict adherence to budgets and schedules, and a hybrid work arrangement with a Chicago office base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Design from an accredited school.
• 5+ years of experience in workplace or corporate interiors projects.
• Accreditation in LEED, NCARB, NCIDQ, and/or WELL is a plus.
• Experience with Enscape and Miro is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute and review design and technical documentation through Design Development and Construction Documents phases.
• Produce renderings and visual presentations to communicate design concepts and support client meetings.
• Coordinate FF&E selections, specifications, vendor communications, and design intent throughout project execution.
• Prepare and support client presentations, project meetings, and presentation decks.
• Collaborate with internal project teams to align on scope, budgets, schedules, and project deliverables.
• Track project hours, workload, and phase progression to ensure deadlines and project milestones are met.
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders to maintain project accuracy and progress.
• Review project deliverables for quality, consistency, and adherence to client and project standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and consultants while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently with minimal oversight while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
