Job summary

Luca Lanzetta Group in Chicago is seeking a dynamic Interior Architect to lead residential interior design projects from concept through completion.

Based in our new flagship showroom, the role blends creative design with technical execution and project management, coordinating with vendors, contractors, and clients to bring each project to life. The position requires a strong design sensibility and excellent organizational skills to meet timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed 2D and 3D architectural drawings and renderings
  • Prepare comprehensive design presentations for client meetings
  • Present design drawings to clients, discussing design details, finish selections, and providing expert guidance on all questions
  • Ensure design solutions align with project timelines and construction considerations
  • Serve as the primary design contact throughout all project phases
  • Present design concepts, drawings, and finish selections to clients, discussing details and providing expert guidance on all questions
  • Gather client feedback and provide regular project updates, promptly communicating any changes or delays
  • Maintain expert knowledge of vendor products and technical product information and ensure accurate document and order submission to vendors
  • Communicate with vendors regarding project needs and utilize vendor-specific software platforms for project execution
  • Coordinate and communicate design and architectural plans with contractors, installers, and various consultants
  • Manage project schedule milestones within defined scope, timeline, and budget parameters
  • Maintain and organize detailed records of project requirements, specifications, budgets, client information, and all communications
  • Conduct site visits to gather measurements and verify specifications during various construction phases
  • Coordinate installation and delivery schedules with logistics teams, general contractors, and clients
  • Ensure quality control throughout the construction process by reviewing shop drawings and installation details

We are seeking a dynamic and detail‑oriented Interior Architect to lead residential interior design projects from concept through completion. Based in our new flagship showroom, this role combines creative design vision with technical execution and project management — developing thoughtful design concepts, producing detailed drawings and renderings, and coordinating with vendors, contractors, and clients to bring each project to life. The ideal candidate pairs a strong design sensibility with exceptional organizational skills, ensuring every project meets client expectations, timelines, and budget requirements. Responsibilities
Design Development & Documentation
  • Produce detailed 2D and 3D architectural drawings and renderings
  • Prepare comprehensive design presentations for client meetings
  • Present design drawings to clients, discussing design details, finish selections, and providing expert guidance on all questions
  • Ensure design solutions align with project timelines and construction considerations
Client Communication
  • Serve as the primary design contact throughout all project phases.
  • Present design concepts, drawings, and finish selections to clients, discussing details and providing expert guidance on all questions.
  • Gather client feedback and provide regular project updates, promptly communicating any changes or delays.
Vendor & Product Management
  • Maintain expert knowledge of vendor products and technical product information (Rimadesio, Antoniolupi, Ernestomeda and related lines).
  • Ensure accurate document and order submission to vendors.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding project needs and utilize vendor-specific software platforms (e.g., PiGreco, Metron) for project execution.
Project Management
  • Coordinate and communicate design and architectural plans with contractors, installers, and various consultants.
  • Manage project schedule milestones within defined scope, timeline, and budget parameters.
  • Maintain and organize detailed records of project requirements, specifications, budgets, client information, and all communications.
  • Conduct site visits to gather measurements and verify specifications during various construction phases.
  • Coordinate installation and delivery schedules with logistics teams, general contractors, and clients.
  • Ensure quality control throughout the construction process by reviewing shop drawings and installation details.
