Job summary

Bellevue College is seeking an Interim Vice Provost to provide senior leadership for academic strategy, instructional alignment, and coordination across Academic Affairs. The role supervises key directors and reports to the Provost, with focus on equity, student success, and institutional effectiveness.

The position is temporary, anticipated to end in December 2026, with a salary range of $132,639 to $198,959 per year and benefits. The workweek is 40 hours, exempt from overtime.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in an instructional discipline, educational leadership, higher education administration, or related field.
• Progressively responsible academic leadership experience within higher education.
• Experience leading faculty hiring and tenure processes with participatory governance.
• Experience overseeing instructional scheduling and academic planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for implementation of Bellevue College's Be Bold Strategic Plan within Academic Affairs.
• Lead curriculum governance and academic policy oversight across instructional programs.
• Oversee faculty hiring, tenure, and academic workforce processes.
• Strategic and integrated instructional scheduling leadership across divisions.
• Serve on college committees and represent Academic Affairs in initiatives.
