Job summary

Bellevue College seeks an Interim Dean of Health Sciences, Education and Wellness Institute (HSEWI) to provide equity-driven leadership and strategic direction for the division. You will oversee curriculum, accreditation, personnel, and resources to ensure programs meet professional standards while serving a diverse student population.

The role requires collaboration with faculty and external partners, guiding transformation and advocacy within Academic Affairs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; combination of education and experience may substitute.
• Experience leading academic units with complex decision-making and budgeting.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student success in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide equity-driven leadership for HSEWI division.
• Oversee curriculum development, program review, accreditation, and compliance.
• Supervise faculty, chairs, directors, and staff; manage hiring, onboarding, and evaluation.
• Lead strategic planning, budgeting, facilities, and partnerships with clinical sites and community organizations.
• Represent division in college governance and advancement efforts.
