Qualifications

• Experience with ASD, language impairment, and articulation/phonology.
• Working knowledge of MA IEPs and state regulations.
• Experience with evaluating students and developing IEPs.
• Familiarity with AAC systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain caseload of Chester Elementary School speech-language students.
• Present evaluation results and IEP goals at multidisciplinary meetings.
• Write evaluation reports, IEP progress reports, and goals/objectives.
• Collaborate with school team to develop educational IEPs for speech-language students.
• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of speech-language disorders.
• Provide screenings to identify students with suspected speech-language issues.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement accommodations and interventions.
• Provide information and counseling to families.
• Keep thorough records for students receiving therapy.
• Compile case history data when appropriate.
