Job summary

Siletz Valley School is seeking an Interim Facility Manager to oversee buildings, grounds, and safety. The role involves hands-on maintenance, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring clean, functional facilities across the campus.

You will manage preventive maintenance, assist with planning future improvements, and support school events while maintaining compliance with district policies. A strong focus on safety, reliability, and communication with staff and vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years verifiable experience in building maintenance, facilities, custodial services, construction, grounds maintenance, or related field.
• Verifiable experience issuing RFQs/RFPs and knowledge of prevailing wage laws.
• Valid Oregon driver’s license or ability to obtain one; background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and basic repairs to buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized work and monitor progress.
• Maintain safety, preventive maintenance schedules, and records.
• Prepare facilities for events and community use; ensure access and security.
