Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational leadership for the Labor & Delivery department.
- Coach and develop the current Assistant Nurse Manager.
- Assess team culture and improve engagement and accountability.
- Establish leadership routines via Daily Management System (DMS).
- Increase leadership visibility through rounding and staff engagement.
- Improve patient flow and operational efficiency with nursing and hospital leadership.
- Support quality, safety and patient experience initiatives with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Lead within a unionized nursing environment aligning with organizational goals.
