Job summary

Warbird Healthcare Advisors is seeking an Interim Enterprise Charge Strategy & Cost Analyst to own the bridge between supply cost, chargemaster, and payer reimbursement for a multi-campus health system. This role is remote, engagement ~3–4 days/week, for ~4 months.

You will build an enterprise charge strategy from scratch, model financial impact, and present to the CFO, rather than handling a queue. Prior OPPS/IPPS experience and multi-EHR exposure are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in hospital revenue integrity, reimbursement, chargemaster, or healthcare financial analysis.
• Hands-on OPPS/IPPS reimbursement experience including packaging and cost-to-charge ratios.
• Track record of modeling the financial impact of a charge change before implementation and validating against remittance.
• Comfort writing SQL queries and generating reports without heavy IT support.
• Bachelor's in finance, accounting, health administration, HIM, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Determine how supply and procedural costs should be represented in the charge structure.
• Build and validate financial models (gross revenue, expected reimbursement, NPSR, margin) for every recommendation.
• Partner with Revenue Integrity, Supply Chain, and Finance to implement and test changes.
