Trial Balance Consulting have been re-engaged by a long-standing client, a professional services business, who urgently seek to recruit an Interim Payroll Administrator to join their team in Falmouth. The role is initially offered on a full-time, temporary basis of at least 4 weeks commencing ASAP.

The exact duration is to be confirmed and there may be a scenario where this assignment lasts longer than 4 weeks. It could also be discussed for less than full-time hours.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience in a payroll role.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and processes.
• Able to commence at short notice and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of payroll records
• Acting as the main point of contact, providing advice and resolving day-to-day queries
• Processing new starters, leavers, statutory payments and pension submissions
• Administration of salary adjustments, absences and holiday requests
• Processing of RTI submissions
• Administer P60’s, P45’s, P11D’s and process SSP/SPP payments
• Resolve any payroll discrepancies

There could also be a discussion for a candidate looking for less than full-time hours. The successful candidate will be based from the company’s headquarters situated in Falmouth.

Role responsibilities of this Interim Payroll Administrator position to include:

We are seeking someone with at least two years’ experience in a similar payroll role, with strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and processes. The successful payroll administrator candidate will be highly organised, detail focused and able to work effectively under pressure.
