Job summary

Apploi is seeking a licensed Nursing Home Administrator to serve as an interim leader across our facilities during vacancies and transitions. This role demands empathy, a strong work ethic, and the integrity to lead teams while keeping resident care front and center.

You will oversee daily operations, regulatory compliance, budgeting, census activity, and quality improvement, partnering with clinical leaders to ensure survey readiness. Extensive travel is required across our footprint.

Qualifications

• Active MO LNHA license (KS LNHA preferred).
• 5+ years as a licensed administrator in a skilled nursing facility.
• Proven success in operations, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement.
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and long‑term care operations.
• Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as interim Licensed NHA at designated facilities during vacancies or transitions
• Provide hands‑on leadership to ensure smooth daily operations and regulatory compliance
• Oversee resident care, staffing, budget adherence, census growth, and overall performance
• Partner with clinical leaders to drive quality outcomes and survey readiness
• Identify operational gaps and implement action plans to stabilize and improve facilities
• Mentor facility administrators and department leaders to build strong leadership culture
• Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations, company policy, and ethical standards
• Work with HR, Clinical, and Compliance on investigations, discipline, and personnel issues
• Report regularly to regional leadership on facility status and progress
• Travel extensively (up to 75%) across the company’s operational footprint
