Job summary

Trinity Youth Services in California is seeking an Interim Maintenance Worker to join our residential campus team in a temporary role. You will perform routine maintenance across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general handyman tasks to ensure a safe, functional living environment for youth.

Responsibilities include setting up preventive maintenance calendars for HVAC, boilers, and major equipment; coordinating with the Campus Director and Maintenance Supervisor; maintaining vehicle

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with experience in routine building maintenance (electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and ability to perform preventive maintenance on HVAC units.
• Must keep accurate records and receipts.
• Must pass physical, drug clearance, background checks; 21+ with CA driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Set up a preventive maintenance calendar for HVAC units, boilers, water heaters, and major appliances.
• Coordinate outside service scheduling with Campus Director.
• Communicate campus needs with the director and develop plans with internal/external teams.
• Ensure Trinity vehicles have scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Work closely with Maintenance Supervisor to report and address damages promptly.
• Drive a vehicle when necessary.
