Job summary

Trion Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician for on-site work across its nationwide residential communities. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs to keep buildings, units, and common areas safe and functional.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, respond to resident service requests, and coordinate with vendors while contributing to preventive maintenance schedules and proper record-keeping to uphold high-quality living environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in maintenance trades are a plus.
• Experience in equipment maintenance for residential or commercial properties.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting on building systems.

Role Description

The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role located in the United States, responsible for ensuring that community buildings, units, and common areas are safe, functional, and well maintained. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and fixtures, as well as conducting inspections to identify issues before they escalation. The role involves responding to resident service requests, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems, and coordinating with vendors or contractors when specialized work is required. The Maintenance Technician also supports preventive maintenance schedules, maintains accurate records of work performed, and follows safety and compliance standards to uphold a high-quality living environment.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for residential or commercial properties.
• Ability to perform Troubleshooting on building systems and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Experience with Preventive Maintenance practices to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Background in Industrial Maintenance or similar technical maintenance environments is beneficial.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry principles.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Good communication skills and a resident-focused, professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple work orders and priorities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in maintenance trades are a plus.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including lifting, standing, and working in various environmental conditions.
