Job summary

B.E. Smith seeks an Interim Nurse Manager to lead Labor & Delivery and postpartum in a Washington state hospital system.

You will report to the Director of Women’s Services and oversee two direct reports and approximately 100 FTEs, driving daily operations, staff engagement, and quality initiatives. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Active WA RN license or Compact RN license required.
• Several years of supervisory or managerial experience in labor and delivery management.
• Familiarity with union contracts in a hospital women's services or maternity unit.

Responsibilities

• Lead the L&D and postpartum units and manage daily operations.
• Oversee two direct reports and about 100 FTEs.
• Support staff engagement and quality initiatives.
• Assist with onboarding a new RN supervisor.
