Job summary

Mid-Ohio Food Collective is seeking a Graduate Fellow to serve as Interim Inventory Manager for a 12-month appointment beginning in February 2027. The role focuses on leading large-scale warehouse inventory operations, optimizing flows, and applying modern supply chain methods to support food security across our region.

The position requires a Master's degree in SCM/MBA/Operations, strong WMS and Excel skills, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or recent graduate from a Master's in SCM, MBA, or related field.
• Strong data analysis and presentation capabilities.
• Experience with WMS, database management, and advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of inventory control practices and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day receipt and monitoring of warehouse inventory; oversee cycle counts and product rotation.
• Directly supervise an Inventory Coordinator and Customer Service Specialist.
• Oversee allocation for TEFAP, USDA, Feeding America, and donor programs; coordinate recalls.
• Manage inbound delivery schedules, dock operations, and receiving workflows.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and year-end inventory reports; identify waste and slow-moving stock.
• Champion weekly safety meetings and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
