AppleOne Employment Services in Fremont, CA seeks an experienced HR Manager for a contract/temporary assignment to provide leadership and ensure continuity of HR operations during a leave.

You will oversee employee relations, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, performance management, and HR administration, handling sensitive matters with discretion.

The role requires 6–10 years in HR, solid knowledge of CA and federal laws, and ability to guide staff while partnering with management.

Qualifications

• Oversee interim HR operations and ensure continuity of existing HR programs and services.
• Manage employee relations, leaves, accommodations, compliance, and HR documentation.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, benefits, payroll-related matters, and employee engagement.
• Provide guidance to HR staff and serve as a trusted resource to employees and management.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations, programs, policies, and practices during the interim assignment.
• Provide support for recruitment, hiring, onboarding, promotions, offboarding, and employee documentation.
• Manage employee relations matters, leaves, accommodations, compliance requirements, and employee-related concerns as needed.
• Support compensation, benefits, 401(k), payroll-related questions, employee engagement, recognition, and company events.
• Coordinate and manage the annual performance review process, typically occurring from January through April.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal employment laws and communicate relevant compliance updates to leadership.
