Job summary

HomeFirst seeks an Interim Housing Placement Manager to lead the Housing Placement Department in Santa Clara County, California. The role focuses on housing outcome metrics, staff supervision, and collaboration with partners to end homelessness.

You will oversee documentation, ensure program compliance, recruit and train staff, and advocate for participants while modeling HomeFirst values of kindness, compassion, and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
• Leadership experience required.
• Experience serving people at risk of losing housing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service delivery to meet program targets.
• Supervise and evaluate staff performance.
• Recruit, hire, and train program staff.
• Maintain thorough, accurate records of Housing Specialist activities.
• Coordinate with contract monitors and partners.
• Advocate on behalf of program participants as needed.
