Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking an Interim ED Manager to oversee daily ED operations at one of its Trinity facilities. You will coordinate physicians, staff, and processes to ensure efficient patient flow and regulatory compliance.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license (compact preferred), a BSN, BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC, at least five years in ED, and prior management experience. This part-time, day-shift role offers a compassionate team environment and opportunity to lead improvements.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in state (compact preferred).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC are required.
• BSN degree is required.
• Minimum 5 years of ED clinical experience.
• Prior management experience is required.
• Part-time role, days, with no weekend duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day ED department operations, overseeing operations, physicians, staff.
• Oversee trauma coordinator and ensure regulatory compliance within the department.
• Complete schedule and timecards; manage UKG and PTO requests and all timecard duties.
• Hold daily huddles with ED department.
• Manage patient complaint follow-up and incident reporting (Midas).
• Oversee quality assurance projects and quality initiatives in the department.
• Participate in leadership team meetings and cross-department process improvements.
• Utilize Epic systems for workflow and data management.
• Address staffing issues and ensure adequate coverage.
