Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Clearlake, CA seeks a registered nurse to lead Nursing Services and ensure care is delivered per physician orders and regulatory standards. You will supervise 24-hour operations and guide the nursing department to maintain quality care aligned with Federal, State and company policies.

The role requires CA RN licensure, an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, and prior supervisory experience in long-term or acute care. PCC charting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold CA RN license.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• 5 years in long-term or acute health care preferred; at least 2 years supervisory experience required.
• PCC charting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total care plans per physician orders, regulations and facility policies.
• Interpret and communicate policies to nursing staff; monitor practices.
• Participate in admissions decisions and may visit prospective residents.
• Participate in daily/weekly management meetings to review resident status and concerns.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
