Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is seeking an Interim Leader of Surgical Services to fill vacancies on a temporary basis until a permanent replacement is appointed by the facility. The Leader’s responsibilities are contracted through Parallon, and they assume director duties of Surgical Services as defined by the facility.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field (Master’s preferred), licensure in the placement state, and prior Surgical Services Manager/Director

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• Past experience as Surgical Services Manager/Director.
• Licensure in state of placement required; CNOR/CSSM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24/7 surgical service operations and related departments.
• Review goals, policies, budgets, and participate in multidisciplinary QI teams.
• Coordinate staffing patterns with OR leadership and nursing management.
• Lead initiatives, coach staff, and ensure quality and patient safety.
