Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is seeking an Interim Leader of Surgical Services to oversee 24/7 operations and related departments in a hospital setting. The position requires nursing leadership experience and licensure in the placement state, with responsibilities spanning policy updates, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration.

The incumbent will manage OR staffing in partnership with OR leadership, drive quality initiatives, and ensure patient-focused care while maintaining regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field required.
• Past experience as a Surgical Services Manager/Director.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the 24-hour, seven day a week functions of the assigned Surgery and related Departments as assigned.
• Reviews and updates goals, policies, and procedures as needed, prepares operating budgets as required, participates in multidisciplinary QI teams, consults with staff, physicians and other departments as needed, and interacts with patients as appropriate.
• Manages staffing patterns with support from OR Manager, Assistant Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses and House Supervisors as appropriate in the OR to which they are assigned.
