Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is seeking an Interim Leader of Surgical Services for Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV. The role contracts through Parallon and involves assuming director duties in Surgical Services as vacancies occur.

The position requires a nursing or related field degree with prior Surgical Services leadership experience; CNOR or CSSM certifications are preferred and licensure in the state of practice is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field is required.
• Past experience as a Surgical Services Manager/Director is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24/7 operations of the assigned Surgery and related departments.
• Review and update goals, policies, and procedures; assist with budget preparation and multidisciplinary QI teams.
• Manage staffing patterns with OR leadership and nursing supervisors.
• Demonstrate leadership competencies: business acumen, relationship building, coaching, communication, and execution.
