Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, a subsidiary of HCA Healthcare, seeks an Interim Leader of Surgical Services to cover vacancies in a temporary capacity until a permanent replacement is chosen. The role entails taking on director duties as defined by the facility, with responsibilities across OR and related departments.

Location: Menorah Medical Center KS - Overland Park, KS. Requires Bachelor’s in Nursing or related field; past Surgical Services leadership experience; CNOR/CSSM preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field required.
• Past experience as a Surgical Services Manager/Director.
• CNOR or CSSM certification preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24/7 operations of the assigned Surgery and related departments.
• Set goals, policies, and budgets; participate in QI teams and coordinate with staff and physicians.
• Manage staffing with OR leadership and charge nurses to ensure safe patient care.
• Lead with business acumen, strategic relationships, and strong communication.
• Other duties as assigned.
