Job summary

Hanford Post Acute seeks an experienced Interim Director of Nursing to provide strong clinical leadership during a transitional period. The role oversees daily Nursing Department operations, ensures high quality resident care, and supports staff while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The DON will partner with Administration, supervise nurses and CNAs, monitor documentation and quality indicators, and participate in surveys.

Qualifications

• Must hold a California RN license and be in good standing.
• Minimum prior Director of Nursing or senior nursing leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations, survey readiness, infection prevention, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily operations of the Nursing Department.
• Ensure residents receive high-quality care per physician orders and care plans.
