  • Active TX and/or compact RN license is required.
  • A minimum of three years in program leadership (burn, trauma, or critical care) is required.
  • A minimum of five years of progressive clinical and operational experience is required.

Job description

The Position
  • An Interim Director, Burn Program, is needed to provide strategic leadership, administrative, and operational oversight for a specialized burn care program.
  • The Interim Director will be responsible for the development, growth, and sustainability of the burn center.
  • Key responsibilities include serving as a liaison between hospital leadership and the Burn Medical Director, driving patient safety and quality initiatives, reinforcing accountability and standard work practices, and providing hands-on leadership as needed.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong critical care and leadership experience, as well as a passion for caring for complex patient populations. Burn experience is strongly preferred.
  • Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
  • Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Compensation Details
  • Compensation Range: $165,000 to $175,000 annually.
  • The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
  • The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
