Job summary

AMN Healthcare Leadership Solutions | B.E. Smith is seeking an Interim Director, Burn Program for a Texas medical center to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of a specialized burn care program.

The candidate will lead development and growth of the burn center, coordinate between hospital leadership and Burn Medical Director, and drive patient safety and quality initiatives. Ideal candidate has strong critical care leadership, burn experience preferred, TX or compact RN

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; master’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or business administration is preferred.
• Active TX and/or compact RN license is required.
• A minimum of three years in program leadership (burn, trauma, or critical care) is required.
• A minimum of five years of progressive clinical and operational experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership, administrative, and operational oversight for the burn program.
• Lead development, growth, and sustainability of the burn center.
• Serve as liaison between hospital leadership and Burn Medical Director; drive patient safety and quality initiatives.
• Reinforce accountability and standard work practices; provide hands-on leadership as needed.
