University Medical Center of El Paso seeks a Clinical and Operational Liaison for the Burn Program to coordinate patient-centered care from injury through inpatient, outpatient, rehab and community reintegration.
This role ensures timely access to care, facilitates multidisciplinary communication, supports patients and families, and contributes to quality, regulatory readiness, ABA standards, and program growth as a regional referral center.
Serves as a clinical and operational liaison across the continuum of burn care and the performance improvement support. Coordinates patient-centered care from initial injury through inpatient treatment, outpatient follow-up, rehabilitation, and community reintegration. Ensures timely access to care, facilitates multidisciplinary communication, supports patients and families, and contributes to quality, regulatory readiness, and program growth in alignment with the American Burn Association (ABA) standards. Plays a critical role in supporting the Burn Program development, improving patient experience and outcomes, reducing fragmentation of care, and supporting the hospital’s mission as a regional referral center.
Three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Burn Care, Trauma or ICU is required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required. Master degree in Nursing is preferred.
