Qualifications

  • Oversee daily and long-range program operations, staffing strategy, policy development, and fiscal stewardship.
  • Drive accreditation and ABA verification efforts, quality initiatives, and staff education across the burn services continuum.
  • Strengthen clinical standards, readiness, and cross-department coordination across the emergency room and trauma program.

The Director of Burn Services will lead a specialized burn unit that collaborates closely with the emergency department, trauma center, operating room, critical care services, rehabilitation, and outpatient care teams. Key advantages include executive-level visibility, burn center growth and development, ABA verification leadership, multidisciplinary collaboration, quality improvement, budget oversight, and strategic program leadership. The Director of Burn Services will help strengthen clinical standards, readiness, patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, staff education, and seamless care across the emergency room and trauma program continuum.

Reporting to senior hospital leadership, the Clinical Director of Burn Services will receive executive support and work alongside experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, friendly nurses, therapists, pharmacists, case managers, social workers, educators, quality specialists, and other diverse healthcare professionals. The Clinical Director of Burn Services will oversee daily and long-range program operations, staffing strategy, performance metrics, policy development, fiscal stewardship, process improvement, team engagement, accreditation preparation, and collaborative initiatives designed to elevate burn care throughout the region.
