Job summary

Tatum by Randstad seeks an experienced Interim Controller for a Chicago-based, PE-owned technology/services company. The role is a 2–3 month engagement, hybrid with onsite expectation in the West Loop 2–4 days per week. Local candidates only.

No travel-in candidates. The controller will absorb knowledge from the outgoing controller, maintain the close process, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support transition and acquisition-related changes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Interim Controller or Controller-level experience.
• Month-end close ownership.
• Financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Team oversight and process management.
• Audit readiness and documentation support.
• Experience in a PE-owned, mid-market, or fast-changing environment.
• Ability to start quickly and work onsite in Chicago’s West Loop 2–4 days/week.
