Interim Controller - Healthcare
Location: Remote
Duration: 2-3 months
About the Project: We are seeking an experienced Controller or Asst. Controller to lead an audit project for a healthcare client. This project involves working directly with their external audit firm to ensure comprehensive and accurate auditing of the healthcare company's operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate audit activities for the healthcare client.
• Collaborate closely with the external audit firm to ensure audit objectives are met.
• Review and assess audit methodology and procedures.
• Provide expert guidance on healthcare industry-specific audit practices.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an accounting leader in a healthcare organization.
• Deep knowledge of audit methodology and best practices.
• Strong experience in managing or coordinating audits.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
