Job summary

Highspring is seeking an experienced Interim Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations and drive the financial close process in a PE-backed SaaS environment.

The role focuses on strong internal controls, system migrations (NetSuite/Sage Intacct), and close coordination with auditors to ensure reliable financial reporting and data integrity. A CPA/CMA and 8+ years of relevant experience are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field; professional certification preferred.
• 8+ years progressive accounting management with 3+ years in Controller/Assistant Controller.
• Direct PE-backed SaaS/tech experience and strong ASC 606 knowledge.
• Experience with ERP migrations (NetSuite, Sage Intacct) and data reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting functions: GL, AR, AP, payroll, cash management.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, annual close under US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Maintain strong internal controls and safeguard assets.
• Manage working capital and cash flow forecasting for PE compliance.
• Coordinate external audits and act as primary liaison.
• Support IT/system modernization and data migration accuracy.
• Develop automated workflows and updated SOPs for new tech infra.
• Collaborate with IT, revenue ops, and consultants to resolve issues.
