Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. – Campus-based position at our Jackson, MI campus. You will lead the Medical Assistant program as Lead Faculty, guide curriculum delivery, and support faculty hiring and onboarding.

Work evenings a few times weekly and coordinate with Career Services to ensure externship completion, retention targets, and high student satisfaction. A focus on quality, ethics, and Ross values guides daily activity.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or CHEA agency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Ability to work at least two evenings per week.
  • Experience in educational methodology such as curriculum development, educational psychology, faculty management, training, staff development, and/or classroom teaching.
  • At least 3 years of full‑time work experience within the past 7 years in a health‑care setting with clinical or clinical‑administrative responsibilities, including a minimum of 40 hours in an ambulatory health‑care setting.
  • License, certification, or registration in the related field (if applicable).
  • Management experience with staff supervision, project coordination, goal achievement, compliance, and budget oversight.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, coaching, and interview skills.
  • Ability to achieve or maintain credential or licensure within expected time frames.
  • Ability to build rapport with students and staff and work collaboratively with teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to quality.
  • Professional demeanor, appearance, and conduct as a Ross representative and student mentor.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor student retention and placement rates for all programs, ensuring campus meets established goals and assist staff with improvement plans when necessary.

  • Capability to remain objective and treat all students equitably.
  • Ability to stay focused and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
  • References and background check, including credit check, will be required.
  • Protection of student and employee privacy expected when handling confidential or financial information.
  • Given that Interims may be promoted from within Ross, a degree completion plan is required; failure to meet the plan may lead to disciplinary action or termination.
Essential Physical & Technical Abilities
  • Stand for extended periods and move around the building and classroom to facilitate student participation.
  • Visual and auditory ability to operate computer equipment, use telephone, read materials, use white‑board, and operate classroom/office equipment.
  • Capability to use current technology to maintain student records.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced work environment.
  • Travel ability for clinical coordinators to visit clinical sites or meetings (if applicable).
  • Prior teaching or formal tutoring experience with a developed curriculum is preferred.
  • Perform related work as required.
