The Direct Action & Research Training Center (DART Center) seeks a community organizer in the Tampa area to mobilize faith communities around social justice issues. You’ll cultivate trust, facilitate conversations, and guide volunteers to join actions that address root causes of local problems.

No prior organizing experience is required as training is provided; the role emphasizes relationship-building, willingness to engage diverse groups, and coordinating community efforts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Organize direct action assemblies with large groups to demand action and accountability.

• Lead annual fundraising drive and coordinate community outreach across Tampa area.
