The Opportunity:

We are hiring multiple Software Developers to join our Financial Management Business Transformation (FMBT) Interfaces, Data Cleanse, and Conversion (ID&C) program at CACI. The role involves implementing financial system interfaces, performing data cleanse activities, and migrating data from legacy systems to Momentum Financials across the Department of Veteran Affairs. This position offers opportunities to learn about the VA FMBT ID&C program, expand your skills, collaborate with experienced technical resources, and support remote project teams across various locations.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, construct, and maintain software programs in areas such as:

• Web service interfaces using Red Hat JBoss and Fuse technologies.
• Data cleanse scripts to ensure data quality in legacy systems using SQL, Excel, or other tools.
• Data conversion routines to migrate data to Momentum ERP, supporting complex business logic and optimizing database performance.

Assist with unit testing and support functional analysts during system testing.

Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and support minor technical changes with senior developers.

Implement quality assurance standards and best practices in software development.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
• US citizenship.
• Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Self-motivated with quick learning abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, with flexibility for extended hours.

Desirable:

• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Relevant internship, leadership, or extracurricular experience.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with software development lifecycle, requirements, and unit testing.
• Web Services development skills: SOAP, XML, WSDL, JSON.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with Microsoft/Azure Data services like Power BI, Azure SQL, etc.
• Data analytics or cleansing tools experience.
• SharePoint development experience.
