Job summary

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) seeks an interdisciplinary engineer-scientist (General Engineer/Computer Scientist) to join the DAiTA Group within the IBST Department of the Battlespace Division. You will lead and advise on advanced analysis, simulation, and software development for synthetic battlespace environments.

Qualifications

• At least one year of specialized experience at GS-13 or DP-04 in the Federal service or equivalent.
• Experience leading advanced projects and advising leadership in analysis, simulation, and battlespace software development.
• Testing and demonstrating critical elements that advance state-of-the-art synthetic battlespace environments.
• Developing strategies for transitioning new technology into integrated products.
• Serve as a SME and technical authority whose ideas catalyze R&D directions.

You will serve as an INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER SCIENTIST (GENERAL ENGINEER/ COMPUTER SCIENTIST) in the Digital Analytics Infrastructure and Technology Advancement (DAiTA) Group, Integrated Battlespace Simulation and Test (IBST) Department, Battlespace Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13) grade level or pay band (DP-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
