Job summary

Copia Power seeks a Manager, Interconnection to oversee generation interconnection requests for solar, energy storage, and natural gas projects across the United States. You will coordinate applications, studies, and negotiations, reporting to the Director of Transmission & Interconnection and partnering with asset management, energy markets, legal, and finance teams.

The role requires deep knowledge of FERC interconnection processes, experience with early-stage development, and strong

Qualifications

• 5 years’ professional experience in renewable energy or interconnection.
• Experience with FERC large generator interconnection processes.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate, and lead generation interconnection processes for solar, storage, and gas projects.
• Coordinate interconnection applications and study/negotiation processes with ISOs/Utilities.
• Ensure timely execution of study agreements and deposit payments.
• Track queue milestones and coordinate with stakeholders to obtain interconnection approvals.
• Support development and financing activities and co-location with data centers.
