Job summary

Copia Power is seeking a Manager, Interconnection to oversee generation interconnection processes for solar, energy storage, and related projects in the United States. You will coordinate application submissions, studies, and negotiations, while supporting EPC milestones and revenue-ready project development.

The role requires knowledge of FERC processes, interconnection tariffs, and experience with utility-scale interconnection projects.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ professional experience in renewable energy preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with project management software.
• Ability to work in the Dana Point, CA, Salt Lake City, UT, Phoenix, AZ, or Lake Oswego office a minimum of 3 days per week.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage generation interconnection process for utility-scale projects, including feasibility analysis and study/agreement processes.
• Coordinate with internal teams to identify transmission locations and queue windows.
• Request and coordinate technical packages from transmission engineers.
• Submit interconnection applications to ISOs/Utilities.
• Ensure timely execution of study agreements and deposits.
