Job summary

East Point Energy is seeking an Interconnection Execution Manager in Charlottesville, VA with a strong background in electrical power systems and interconnection processes. The role leads interconnection across the full lifecycle, coordinating with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, EPCs, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in interconnection execution, familiarity with BESS IBR integration, and knowledge of NERC standards. Hybrid/remote work with travel up to 25% is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Masters in Electrical Power Systems preferred.
• 4+ (senior)/6+ (manager) years interconnection execution experience across multiple RTOs/ISOs.
• Experience leading generator interconnection through full interconnection lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead interconnection strategy from application through IA and IA/IFA.
• Oversee interconnection requirements integration into EPC, procurement, and commissioning.
• Serve as primary technical contact with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, and transmission owners.
