RGP seeks an experienced Intercompany Accounting SME with deep expertise in BlackLine Intercompany Hub (ICH) implementations to lead a global intercompany transformation. This remote engagement spans 12+ months, guiding governance, design, and adoption across multinational finance teams.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in intercompany accounting, hands-on BlackLine ICH experience, and strong stakeholder facilitation skills to drive standardized, compliant end-to-end processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of accounting, finance transformation, shared services, or intercompany accounting experience.
• Deep expertise in intercompany accounting, reconciliations, eliminations, settlements, and close processes.
• Hands-on experience with BlackLine Intercompany Hub (ICH).
• Experience supporting or leading a BlackLine ICH implementation, rollout, or optimization initiative.
• Strong understanding of global intercompany operating models and industry best practices.
• Experience working with large, multinational organizations and complex legal entity structures.
• Excellent consulting, facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment while partnering with geographically dispersed teams.
• Demonstrated ability to advise stakeholders in a remote consulting environment and lead cross-functional teams through complex finance transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Intercompany Accounting SME supporting a BlackLine ICH implementation and rollout.
• Provide advisory leadership and best-practice recommendations related to intercompany accounting processes, governance, controls, and operating models.
• Evaluate current-state intercompany processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and standardization.
• Lead process design discussions and facilitate stakeholder workshops across finance, accounting, and shared services teams.
• Advise on BlackLine ICH functionality and alignment with business requirements.
• Support end-to-end implementation activities, including requirements gathering, process design, testing, deployment, and user adoption.
• Develop recommendations related to: Intercompany transaction processing, Matching and reconciliation processes, Intercompany settlements, Dispute management, Close process optimization, Intercompany controls and governance.
• Partner with business stakeholders to resolve implementation challenges and drive decision-making.
• Support change management, training, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Promote leading practices that improve efficiency, accuracy, visibility, and control across global intercompany processes.

About This Role

RGP is seeking an experienced Intercompany Accounting Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in BlackLine Intercompany Hub (ICH) implementations to support a global intercompany transformation initiative. This role will serve as a strategic advisor, providing leadership, best practices, and functional guidance throughout the implementation and rollout of BlackLine's ICH product.

The ideal consultant combines strong intercompany accounting expertise with hands-on experience implementing or optimizing BlackLine ICH solutions in complex, multinational organizations. This individual will help design future-state processes, advise on governance and controls, facilitate stakeholder alignment, and guide successful adoption of the solution.

This is a remote consulting engagement expected to last 12+ months, offering the opportunity to support a large-scale finance transformation initiative while partnering with executive stakeholders, accounting leadership, and business process owners.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA preferred.
• Experience with BlackLine Account Reconciliations and Transaction Matching modules.
• Experience supporting finance transformation, shared services or Record-to-Report (R2R) initiatives.
• ERP experience including SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Prior consulting or advisory experience supporting large-scale finance transformation programs.
